After my marriage ended, I suddenly had a lot of time on my hands, so I wound up teaching myself how to play the guitar. I started out just wanting to accompany myself while singing my favourite songs, but it turned out to be the start of something much bigger.

Music has now become a very important part of my life. It's brought me a lot of new friends, taken me to new places, and into a new extended family I'm proud and touched to be a part of.

Apart from that, my life goes on as usual. I'm still reading comics, SF and anything I can get my hands on (military history being the obsession du jour). I shuttle what little time I have between my work, trying to write, my Macintosh, remnants of a social life and my duties as a wizard on TinyTIM, the funnest spot on the Internet. Really.

If you're at all interested, the easiest way to keep up with me these days is to read my livejournal.

But that wasn't all...
